A Ghostly Good Time: Halloween Kids Photoshoot in Muncie, Indiana

Sometimes the best ideas are the ones that creep up on you! 👻

Earlier this week, I dressed up my daughter, Wendy, and her best friend, Kova, for an impromptu “haunt” around town. Armed with bedsheets, giggles, and boundless energy, our little ghosts floated their way through some of our favorite local spots: the park, the library, and Twisters Soda Bar.

At seven years old, these two are full of spooky spirit (and just the right amount of chaos). From ghostly giggles on the swings to eerie elegance among the library stacks, every stop turned into a little slice of Halloween magic. And of course, no ghost tour would be complete without a stop for something boo-tifully sweet at Twisters!

I love when simple ideas turn into moments we’ll remember forever. It’s proof that a little creativity and a white sheet or two can turn an ordinary day into something fang-tastic.
