Meet Spicy & Sweet Baby Iris | Newborn Session with Neutrals + Green

Some babies come into the world with a little extra spark—and baby Iris was definitely one of them! This gorgeous girl arrived in the studio with the most delicate bleach blonde hair and a “spicy” little personality that kept us on our toes in the very best way.

Her newborn session was styled in soft neutrals, calming greens, and a gentle touch of blue—perfectly suited to her delicate features and bright presence. But while the colors were soft, Iris had her own bold ideas for how things should go. Like all my newborn clients, she set the pace—and we happily followed.

Every baby is different, and I fully believe in letting them lead during their session. Some snooze the whole way through, others (like Iris!) make us earn every shot with a little sass and a lot of improvising. That’s what makes each session so special and real.

And despite her strong opinions (or because of them), Iris gave us the sweetest little stretches, yawns, and wide-eyed glances in between naps. Her gallery is full of those in-between moments that say so much more than a perfect pose ever could.
